SUMMER Piano Pedagogy Intensive

July 6 and 7, 2007

Shaak Music Studio

Denver, CO  Call (303) 756-0756

July 6th and 7th (Friday and Saturday), Carolyn Shaak and June Haun  presented a dynamic and highly specific workshop, covering their comprehensive approach
to piano teaching and technical development.   2 full-day course at the
Shaak Music Studio in southeast Denver called Summer Piano Pedagogy Intensive which
includes individual and group teaching methods and demonstrations at several different
levels, lectures, hands-on techniques, handouts, discussions and much more.
Originally this workshop was designed for some pedagogy faculties from Korea and
the U. S., but we have decided to extend the invitation to those university and college
students who are graduating and are either looking at different teaching methods for their
own private studios or are interested in piano pedagogy college positions. It will be a
great opportunity for them to examine the Piano Partners Series and the teaching
philosophy and methods of Bernard and Carolyn Shaak, as well as to observe how their
materials are used in our studios. Because of the nature of this workshop we are limiting
enrollment to a small number. It is essential to apply early and reserve a spot.
If you have any questions please call or email. Following is an application form
and a detailed outline of each of the 4 sessions of the Intensive.
